Prof. Treats

This week my Kyosunim(Professor) just came back from from visiting Malaysia and Singapore. He went there with undergraduate students for the vacation, view and sightseeing for about 10days. What do impress me that Prof request to visit mosque at Malaysia. His willingness to know about my religion also impress me and he even wait for us to pray today before dinner. Alhamdulillah, so grateful!
So, my friends arranged their visit to Putrajaya's mosque and fortunately there is an officer from ABIM that willing to guide their tour. Prof told us that they give good explanations and even gives meaning about every movement in solah. I'm feel very gratitude to this officer.

This coming Friday is starts for Chinese New Year in Lunar Calender. But for Korean they called it as 'Seollal' and Prof treats us dinner at an exclusive restaurants. On Seollal day, they will gather, eat and pray to their ancestors. But, i dont want to explain about Seollal here. We have good dinner and good chatting about his visit to Malaysia. I don't know how many times already Prof went to Malaysia and he also had experience several problems with Malaysian. However what did surprised me that Prof said that the more I went to Malaysia, the more I like it.

Really?

It is normal for tourist when they went to Malaysia they will come again. Because of variety of Malaysian foods and the kindness of its people. Thats'  are also the reasons that Prof told me. Even though he has some bad experience with Malaysian (collaboration, meeting, visiting) and we (his students who can't eat chicken, cheese, don't drink alcohol, don't go to no'norae-bang' (karaoke), don't shake hands, wear hijab, ask more time for praying and etc..), but he still like Malaysia, I feel relief!

Maybe he like Malaysia but not Malaysian!

Anyway, I like him and grateful to has him as my teacher. Thank you for your superb treat today!

Hope we can get some 'angpau' tomorrow before holiday..Hehe..

my turn..next Lab Meeting!

Assalamualaikum...

This Saturday is my turn to present at lab meeting..Alhmdulillah, the slaids are prepared..Even only little progress to report, but it brings me calamity than previous weeks.. Kuseumnim (prof) already warned, I will shout without hesitate if your presentation is still bad..the problem is not that i can't speak and explain well but it becomes problem to me if i didn't understand why I'm doing this! Why i did this exp? What is my main goal? Be a master student, it is difficult to find new brand idea to study..I only have little knowledge and need guidance..But the challenge in my lab is we have to find the core target study by ourselves and prof will see the results and give suggestion later..maybe some student can do and maybe somebody will takes too long time to create and generate idea..it is better if teacher can give brief idea and we student later enhance and give value added to the idea..first steps sometimes too difficult..hwaiting!
